I should be asleep

I don’t know what it is about these days.  Well, I do.  I feel it.  I can’t describe it.  It’s freedom, and adventure, and wanting to go for anything and everything.  I want to live.  I am learning, and loving, and enjoying life as it is.  I have dreams again.  It’s like they went dormant for awhile.  There were some here and there, but now the impact is stronger.  The weight of what I want to do in the near future is not heavy, it is empowering.  I am fortunate to know some very wonderful, and amazing people and I would love to do so much with them in times to come.  I can’t wait for warm weather and camping trips.  Hiking and swimming.  Exploring this world that is my home.  Exploring the people that I love so dearly. 

This light.  It’s golden.  And it won’t rust.  Here’s to life.  Here’s to us.  Here’s to whatever the future brings. 

We can all make it beautiful for ourselves.
